The latest college football bowl projections are now up to date for MrBCS.com, ESPN and CBS Sportsline.

With losses by Oregon and Iowa as well as Ohio State’s victory over Penn State there are several significant changes in this week’s predictions.

Here’s our latest picks for the BCS and 2010 BCS National Championship Game.

BCS National Championship: Florida vs. Texas

Sugar Bowl: Alabama vs. Cincinnati

Rose Bowl: Ohio State vs. Oregon

Fiesta Bowl: Penn State vs. Boise State

Orange Bowl: Georgia Tech vs. TCU

Updated BCS and Bowl Projections after College Football’s 5th weekend

The latest College Football bowl projections for the 2010 BCS bowl games and the 29 other bowls are now updated for MrBCS.com, ESPN and CBS Sportsline.

Significant changes include the following:

ESPN’s Mark Schlabach now projects Alabama to win the SEC Championship and play for the 2010 BCS National Championship.

Oklahoma is no longer projected to earn a BCS berth.

ESPN no longer projects Iowa to earn a BCS bid, but CBS now believes the Hawkeyes will make the FedEx Orange Bowl.

All three services currently agree on the following league champions.

Big East: Cincinnati

Big XII: Texas, who Mr.BCS and CBS forecast will make the 2010 BCS National Championship Game.

The latest College Football bowl projections for the 2010 BCS bowl games and the 29 other bowls are now updated for MrBCS.com, ESPN and CBS Sportsline.

Significant changes include the following:

Cal is no longer projected to be a factor in any of the BCS games based on the latest bowl projections from all three services.

CBS Sports now believes Oregon will win the Pac-10, following their 42-3 victory over Cal this past weekend.

ESPN believes Iowa will win the Big Ten and face USC in the Rose Bowl.

MrBCS.com projects that Oregon will be the at-large team selected by the FedEx Orange Bowl, following replacement picks by the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and Allstate Sugar Bowl.

ESPN and CBS now join Mr. BCS in projecting Virginia Tech to win the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).  Both had been projecting Miami (FL) to win following week 3.

All three services also now agree on the following league champions.

Big East: Cincinnati (Mr. BCS had been projecting Pittsburgh)

Big XII: Texas, who we all forecast will make the 2010 BCS National Championship Game.

SEC: Florida, who we project will play Texas for the National Championship based on the latest bowl predictions.

The latest College Football bowl projections for the BCS bowl games and the 29 other bowls are now updated for MrBCS.com, ESPN and CBS Sportsline.

Significant changes include the following:

ESPN now predicts Oklahoma instead of USC in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

Following their win at Oregon State, Cincinnati is projected to win the Big East by ESPN and CBS.

Miami (FL) now is considered the favorite to win the ACC for ESPN and CBS Sportsline.  MrBCS.com still projects Virginia Tech to win the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship and represent the league in the FedEx Orange Bowl.  This should be solidified this weekend when the Hurricanes and Hokies hook up.

BYU is no longer considered a BCS team, with all three services (ESPN, CBS and MrBCS.com) now showing Boise State as the favorite to represent the non-BCS conferences.

UCLA continues to make a move and we now predict they will earn a bid in the Holiday Bowl (#1 selection following BCS teams, California and USC).

USC is still projected to win the Pac-10 by us, whereas Cal is considered the Pacific 10 Champion and Rose Bowl participant by ESPN and CBS Sportsline.
